Signing in and two-factor
How to sign in, and how to add a second step so a stolen password is not enough.
You sign in with the email address your firm invited. There is no self-service sign-up: accounts are created by somebody at your firm, which is why the sign-in page has no link to register.
Adding a second step
Two-factor authentication means a stolen password alone cannot reach your firm's data. Orin will prompt you to set it up, and you can do it at any time.
Open Security
Go to Settings, then Security.
Scan the code
Use an authenticator app on your phone. Orin shows a QR code to scan.
Enter the six digits
Confirm with the code your app shows. From then on you are asked for one at sign-in.
Keep your recovery codes
Orin shows recovery codes once. Store them somewhere other than the phone running the authenticator, or losing that phone locks you out.
If you cannot get in
Use the forgotten-password link on the sign-in page. If the reset email does not arrive, check junk mail first, then ask an administrator at your firm to confirm which address your account uses.
Common questions
I signed in and was sent straight back to the sign-in page. Your session was refused. Sign in again; if it keeps happening, tell an administrator, because it usually means the account has been put on hold rather than that you typed something wrongly.
Can I use the same account at two firms? No. An account belongs to one firm.
