Which days your firm works. This is one of the most load-bearing settings in Orin, and one of the least obvious.

What reads it

  • Capacity. Hours are placed backwards from a due date and skip non-working days entirely rather than filling them at a reduced rate. See Capacity.
  • Hourly rates. Weekend and bank holiday rates are decided by this calendar, not by the rate card.
  • Due dates throughout the product.

If placement or rates look wrong for one person or one week, check this calendar first. It is almost always the answer and almost never the first place people look.

Closures

A day the firm is shut. Closures are treated as non-working: no capacity is placed on them.

Common questions

We work Saturdays. Then mark Saturday as a working day, or capacity will step over every Saturday and rates will treat them as weekend work.
