Access control
Who works at your firm, their roles, and what each of them may do.
For firm administrators
Who is at the firm and what each of them can open.
Inviting somebody
An invitation is sent by email and the person sets their own password. There is no way to create an account with a password on their behalf, deliberately.
Access is granted by group, not by rank
People are put in permission groups, and a group grants a set of areas. Somebody's job title and their access are separate facts, which is why a senior person can legitimately have narrow access.
A member in no group can sign in and open nothing. Orin shows them one plain explanation rather than a product full of refusals, but it is still a setup mistake and it looks like a bug to them.
Removing somebody
Mark them as removed. Their logged time, filed documents and completed work all stay: they are part of the firm's record, not the person's.
Common questions
Somebody says a menu item is missing. That is this panel. Find their group and check what it grants.
